The Complete FH6 Collectibles System

FH6 features the deepest collectible system in Horizon history. **Total rewards: 330 Gamerscore + over 1,000,000 credits.** Everything you can find, smash, photograph, or unlock — organized by priority.

**Pro Tip:** The Collection Journal runs passively in the background. You're always making progress, even when not actively pursuing stamps.

FH6 Collectibles Types Overview
FH6 Collectibles Types Overview

Regional Mascots: 200 to Smash (1,000,000 Credits)

Food-themed characters (Onigiri, Tempura, and more) placed roadside across all 10 regions. Each region uses a distinct mascot design — you'll know you've entered new territory when the mascots change.

  • Reward: 5,000 credits each = 1,000,000 credits total
  • Location: All regions, roadside. Harder ones hide off the beaten path in mountain areas
  • Achievement: "Gotta Smash 'em All" (30G) for all 200
  • **Strategy:** Use the region-isolation filter on the map. Clear one zone at a time. Long coastal sightlines (Izu/Hakone) make for efficient farming. **Credit farmers should hit these first** — the full million is available from hour one with zero race skill required.

    ---

    Bonus Boards: 200 for XP

Smashable boards granting XP — the engine that powers early wristband progression. XP from boards compounds with race XP for faster leveling.

  • Reward: XP
  • Location: Tokyo's urban zone has the highest concentration — rooftops, elevated rail sections, behind highway barriers, inside parking structures
  • Achievement: "A Few Splinters Is Nothing!" (30G) for all 200
  • **Strategy:** Tokyo's city area is five times the size of any previous Horizon city. Akihabara and Chiyoda districts pack boards into tight vertical space. **Precision driving matters more than speed** for rooftop boards. XP maximizers should clear Tokyo first.

    ---

    Treasure Cars: 9 Hidden Gems

Pre-modified vehicles parked at hidden spots across the map. You can buy them immediately at a **below-market price** — they come with tuning and aftermarket bodywork already applied.

  • Reward: Discounted pre-tuned A-class+ cars
  • Location: Off-road areas, mountain/highland zones. Best hunting: Itto central region and Hokubu northern zone
  • Achievements: "A Fine Addition To My Collection" (10G) / "Treasure Hunter" (30G)
  • **Strategy:** Budget a dedicated 90-minute session in Itto and Hokubu. At least one confirmed location near Okuibuki on the map's western side. **Key distinction:** Treasure Cars cost money (at a discount), Barn Finds are free but stamp-gated.

    ---

    Barn Finds: Free Rare Cars

Rare cars obtained for free, tied to automotive history. **Gated behind Collection Journal stamps** — cannot be bought or rushed with credits. This is the long game.

    How Barn Finds Work:

    1. Earn stamps from photography, food delivery, car collecting, Horizon Stories, and racing

    2. Each new stamp tier unlocks the next set of Barn Find Rumors

    3. Each Rumor marks a specific map location

    4. Drive there — the car is yours, free

**Stamp Tiers:** Yellow → Green → Blue → Pink → Orange → Purple → Gold

**Strategy:** Completionists should start the Journal immediately. The rarest free cars require stamp progress, not credits. Higher stamp tiers likely point into the Japanese Alps.

    ---

    Collection Journal Stamps: 7 Tiers

A new system inspired by Japan's real-world stamp-collecting tradition. Progress tracks **passively across everything you do.**

  • How to earn: Photograph landmarks, complete food deliveries, buy cars, finish Horizon Story chapters, race
  • Rewards: Barn Find Rumors, Player Houses across Japan, The Estate
  • **The beauty of this system:** Stamps never expire. Cumulative progress across your entire playthrough. You're earning toward the next tier whether you're actively chasing it or not.

    ---

    Landmarks: 10 to Discover

Photo-worthy locations counting toward Journal stamps. Confirmed targets:

  • Shibuya Crossing — The iconic Tokyo scramble
  • Ginkgo Avenue — Tree-lined boulevard in Minamino
  • Tokyo Tower — Visible from most of the city
  • C1 Loop Ring Road — Tokyo's urban racing circuit
  • Nachi Mountain — Pilgrimage route with waterfall
  • Mt. Fuji — Japan's most famous landmark
  • **Achievement:** "Pin It!" (10G) for 10 landmarks.

    ---

    Regional Breakdown

  • Tokyo Urban Zone: Highest Bonus Board density. Akihabara + Chiyoda for vertical boards. Daikoku PA-style car meets.
  • Minamino (South): Mixed roads, accessible mascots. Gingko Avenue and C1 Loop landmarks. Early Barn Find Rumors likely point here.
  • Itto (Central): Mountain passes. Irohazaka Winding Road. **Treasure Car hotspot.** Okuibuki location on west edge.
  • Hokubu (North): Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Ski Resort. Unique snowy-biome mascots. Legends Island access.
  • Coastal Zone (Izu/Hakone): Best for fast mascot runs — long sightlines. Nachi Mountain photo target.
  • Japanese Alps (Northwest): Mt. Fuji accessible. Alpine mascot designs. Higher-tier Barn Find Rumors likely here.

    Player-Type Priority Guide

  • Completionist: Start Collection Journal immediately. Stamps gate Barn Finds — the rarest free cars need stamp progress, not credits.
  • Credit Farmer: All 200 Regional Mascots first. 1,000,000 credits with no racing required.
  • XP Maximizer: Bonus Boards in Tokyo first. Board XP + race XP = compound leveling to higher wristbands faster.
  • Casual Explorer: Follow Barn Find Rumors naturally as stamps unlock from general play. Don't force a grind — stamps accrue from everything.
